![]() ![]() This sounds like a dependency is missing on Windows 7 which makes the DLL silently fail to load. This would normally happen if the DLL module is "incomplete". The problem that you are seeing now, is the Vulkan Loader not loading the Vk3DVision.dll. The Dx9 mode should have fixed that in theory, but it is hard to tell without testing it on a Win7 machine. I can see that the game process reads it when using 1.0.3, but with 2.0.0/.1 it doesn't even try to read it. I used Process Monitor to verify that Vk3DVision.ini is actually read. Whatever you did in 2.0.0 "fixed" it.įirst I thought that maybe I copied the files to the wrong place. It looks like the problem was in the Vk3DVision64!SetWindowPos call. I don't think you checked the crashdump back then, but I was curious and checked myself. The behavior also changed between 1.0.2 and 1.0.3 as I mentioned here. I reverted to 1.0.3 to be sure, and it still crashes for me as it always did. It shows the admin elevation prompt even if I run it by double clicking, so it runs as admin in all cases. I believe you are running VK3DVision.exe as admin right? It should already come with the correct privilege setting set straight from the archive, but who knows I haven't changed anything that have to do with the Vulkan layer, so I can't really understand why you see a difference. ![]()
